Why Hei Digital

Most businesses aren’t short on technology. They’re short on direction, too many tools, too many vendors, and not enough people who can see the full picture, plan the strategy, and stay accountable for the outcome.

We’re built around one idea: the same senior person who scopes your project stays accountable for it through delivery, working with an experienced team under direct oversight. Not a pitch team that hands you off to someone new once the contract is signed. One point of contact, start to finish, who understands both the business problem and the technical solution.

It was founded by a seasoned digital agency CTO with over 15 years of experience spanning software engineering, technical consulting, and digital leadership across Singapore and the region. That experience includes leading technology and delivery for large-scale digital platforms, government services, and brand experiences, for clients ranging from global enterprises to public sector institutions.

Hei is a greeting: open, friendly, easy to approach. In Hebrew, ה (Hei) is the spark of creation, the same mark hidden in our logo. That’s the moment thinking turns into building, and what we’re here for.

Hei Digital is a new company. The track record on this page belongs to our founder, built over 15+ years before starting Hei Digital. You're getting that experience applied to a fresh, boutique setup, not a startup guessing for the first time.

Do you work with businesses my size?

Yes, whether you're an SME, a mid-market team or a larger organisation. Every engagement is scoped to your size and budget, with the same senior-level thinking. If you're not sure where to start, the Audit is a low-risk first step.

Why a boutique agency instead of a bigger agency or a freelancer?

Freelancers are great for focused tasks, but strategy, build and AI end to end is a lot for one person. Larger agencies bring scale, though you often deal with account managers rather than the people solving the problem. We sit in between: senior-level thinking and hands-on delivery, without the overhead.

Do I need to start with the Digital Readiness Audit?

No, but if you're not sure what you need, it's the fastest way to find out. The fee is creditable toward your first project if you go ahead within 90 days.

An experienced team builds it, and the same senior person who scoped your project stays hands-on through delivery. You're never handed off to someone you haven't met.

How is a project priced?

Every service has a set price range, and we share it upfront in your first conversation. For AI-Powered Experiences, the final price depends on scope, since every AI build is different. Either way, you get a number before you commit, not after.

How long does a typical project take?

The Audit takes five working days once we've had the discovery session. A campaign site usually takes 2 to 3 weeks, a full business website 6 to 12 weeks, and a custom web or mobile app 3 to 5 months. Automations take 1 to 6 weeks, depending on how many systems they connect. You get a firm timeline in the proposal before anything starts.

Who owns the code and IP once it's built?

You do. Full ownership of the code, designs and content passes to you at handover, along with the documentation and access, so you're free to maintain it yourself or work with anyone you choose.

Do you build with a specific platform or vendor?

No. We pick whichever platform, framework, or tool actually fits the job, not tied to one CMS, one automation platform, or one AI provider, so you're never locked into someone else's roadmap, pricing, or limitations.
